This is part of a series I have been working on using mixed media and the emphasis on light. I use the mixtures of Gesso and ink to get different tones to represent the various lights and shadows that fall upon a person. It is somewhat abstract, but I enjoy letting the light distinguish the person's body and sense of emotion being captured.
