BIOGRAPHY

For me art is an incredible process of exploration and problem solving. I really love the feel of letting go and seeing where each step takes me. I use classic materials and methods not only because I like their directness and intimacy, but I find them to be much more spontaneous. Paint, conte sticks, pen and ink, and pastels are my most treasured tools. I love the textures of raw canvas, wood, heavy paper or newsprint. Currently, I have been working on more photorealistic pieces, exploring colors and surfaces. I am studying a lot of found objects high shine, and the refraction that occurs when these items are under water.
